Colour Box 3 - our version

For a long time I couldn't decide in which way should I make the colour tablets. As usual the original version is very expensive as for few painted wooden pieces. Finally I made them in computer graphic program and printed them on normal white paper in two copies. One copy I used as a example (or error checker)  and I cut the second copy into pieces, laminating them before.

Cylinders Blocks 2

Igor has been using Cylinder blocks for a long time, there was even one post with pictures before but today I decided to write few words about this material.

The Cylinders Blocks set consists of four wooden blocks each containing 10 cylinders.

Shopping list - in five languages

I bought the game called Shopping List produced by Orchard Toys. It consists of carton imitation of supermarket trolleys, 4 shopping lists and goods showed on carton based pictures. I purchased it in English version, but I know there are other languages available. To avoid extra charges buying them I asked Daria's teachers to translate the shopping lists into Spanish and French. I put the lists on scanner, erased the English words and then printed empty list out. Then we rewrote them in Spanish, French, Polish and Russian and got them laminated. Daria's teachers used them during their lessons. 

Pink reading material 3 - Beginnig sound

I use the beginning sound as an extention to pink material. The words on a card are short of first letter, and I give a chance to Igor to find it and attach it on velcro tape.

Używam gry Początkowa literka (dźwięk) jako rozszerzenie do Różowego Materiału Montessori. Słowa na kartkach nie mają pierwszej literki i Igor ma szanse ją dopasować z rozsypanki i przyczepić ja na właściwe miejsce. Oczywiście jak zawsze używamy rzepów.

Puzzle - counting

I bought those puzzles in nearby craft shop. Very simple but helps with our present counting activities. The child just counts the items on the right hand side and matches the proper number.

W pobliskim papierniczaku kupiłem proste puzzle, niezbyt wyrafinowanej jakości, jednak pozwalające utrwalić Igorowi to co obecnie ćwiczymy czyli dopasowywanie ilości do cyfr. Igor liczy elementy po prawej stronie klocka i dopasowuje odpowiednia liczbę.
