Pink tower and other variations

Today it has been a very creative day. When I asked Igor what he would like to play with, he pointed at the Pink Tower. We started to take it out on the carpet and suddenly Igor turned back to the shelf and picked up the cards for a pink tower. Originally they had number attached but I cut them off as Igor didn't know numbers at that stage. We used wooden numbers instead. Again there was a chance to put them manually and count them again. At the same Igor was matching pink cubes to the pictures and he was placing the wooden number in front of them.

Dzisiaj mieliśmy bardzo kreatywny dzień. Kiedy zapytałem Igora co chciałby robić, wskazał na Różową wieże. Zaczęliśmy nosić klocki na podłogę, gdy nagle Igor zawrócił do półki i zabrał pomocnicze karty do wieży. Oryginalnie miały one numery od 1 do 10 ale je obciąłem kiedyś bo Igor nie znał wtedy jeszcze cyfr. Zamiast tego użyliśmy drewnianych cyfr. Dało to szanse na ręczne dopasowywanie i ponowne przećwiczenie liczenia. Igor jednocześnie dopasowywał sześciany do rysunków i kładł cyferki przed nimi.

In the middle of the way my little boy got bored and decided that the pink tower will be built anyway.

W połowie drogi mój chłopak sie znudził i zdecydował, że wieża zostanie jednak zbudowana.

After reaching the top of the tower we put cubes on the proper pictures and we made the numbers right. When I had to find an additional "1" in the craft box to join "0" and make "10" Igor spotted barbecue sticks and asked for them. Suddenly we had another "fake" spindles to count. As they are very sharp they became quite dangerous thing, I swapped them with our lolly-pop sticks.

Gdy dotarł w końcu na szczyt wieży, dał sie przekonać do powrotu do poprzedniego zadania. Gdy musiałem poszukać dodatkowej jedynki  w pudełku z przyborami, aby zrobić liczbę "10", Igor natknął się na drewniane patyczki do szaszłyków i koniecznie chciał je mieć. Takim sposobem mieliśmy kolejne "udawane" wrzecionka to policzenia. Jako że na dłuższą metę były one niebezpieczne ze względu na ostrość końców, zostały zastąpione naszymi starymi patyczkami.

Then Igor started to carry the Brown Steps to our work place. He matched the exact size of the steps and cubes. Only the smallest ones were constantly falling down because the carpet is not, as we all unserstand, the best constructions place.

Później Igor zaczął przynosić Brązowe schody na nasz plac budowy. Stawiał je na odpowiednim różowym sześcianie. Tylko najmniejsze klocki cały czas spadały, jako że dywan nie jest, jak wszyscy wiemy, najlepszym podłożem konstrukcyjnym.

Then we built some towers...

Następnie zbudowaliśmy kilka wież...

... and tried how good builders we were by taking pink cubes out.

... i sprawdzaliśmy jak dobrymi konstruktorami jesteśmy, poprzez usunięcie kilku elemementów.

Finally we build the tower and used Brown Steps as its shadow.

Ostatecznie zbudowaliśmy wieże używając brązowych schodów jako cienia.

Igor was still not satisfied so he brought more material from the shelf. First were yellow cylinders. I showed him how to match them with the brown steps: Gradually from the biggest to the smallest.

Igor dalej był nie usatysfakcjonowany, więc przyniósł kolejne przybory z półki. Jako pierwsze poszły na warsztat żółte cylindry. Pokazałem mu jak przyporządkować je do brązowych schodów.

Then he brought more cylinders.

Igor przyniósł następnie kolejne cylindry.

At the end of the day we landed with this colourful construction.

I na końcu wyszło nam takie kolorowe cudo.
